Originally from the Monterey Peninsula, Sylvia came to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB, earning her BA in Fine Art, and decided to stay. Interested in construction since childhood, she began working for small local construction companies and then moved to larger tract home builders. Always a wearer of many hats, Sylvia is well rounded from her various industry jobs. She brings over 20 years of experience in construction and development to Projects, including estimating, project management, project cost tracking, client and subcontractor contract administration, bookkeeping, and human resources.

Sylvia began working with Projects in May 2019.  She feels fortunate to join a company with a focus on consistent client communication and efficient project management to bring the best outcome to achieve our clients’ construction goals.
